Welcome to my Year 8 Technology Blog!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Joel and I am currently studying Technology in Year 8. This blog will be used for the portfolio for this assessment. Our assigned area for research, which we will be focussing on is Animation.

 We will be using a wide variety of multi-media programmes, including:-

1) Flip Book
2) Pivot
3) Line Rider
4) Go Animate
5) Adobe Flash
6) Stop Motion

After acquiring skills in some of the practical fields above, I will decide on a animation type and programme which will be my main focus for the project; this will include an individualised Design Brief. This is pivotal in order to ascertain what the problem is and how I will achieve it in order to complete this set of work.

The PRIME Design sequence is central to this unit of work and will help assist in the creation of my animation. This cycle is situated on the Prime Overview page.
