I successfully completed my design brief which was to construct a Stop Motion animation which centred on the theme of Harry Potter and was between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. I also incorporated action into the animation which was necessary as the target audience were teenagers. Overall, I am very happy with the effort that I put into this animation, and I believed it filled out the criteria set by my design brief and criteria for success!
Process
The PRIME cycle was a pivotal part of the completion of my blog and animation.
Problem: This was a very important part in coming up with the design brief and ultimately what I had to create and the limits and requirements I had to meet.
Research: Research allowed me explore a wide variety of animation types such as stop motion, flip booking, pivot and line rider. This knowledge allowed me to chose the appropriate one for my animation aswell as how to use the programme effectively.
Ideas: The ideas section was an important one as it helped me to figure out what was going to happen in my animation and when, in order to be complete my design brief.
Make: The make section was extremely important as this is where I have gathered all my past research and ideas, and create the best possible animation, using one of the researched softwares.
Evaluate: Evaluation is important as I can review my work and tell myself where I went wrong and where to improve for next time. Also, my peers can comment on my work and tell me some of my strengths and weaknesses in my animation, which provides another perspective.

Peers
For this section, I will choose 4 peers that will make a small evaluation of my final animation.
Anton Luger: Joel has created a quality blog & animation. He has researched the topic very well, & has put a lot of effort into his animation. He has learnt a lot about how to create a effective animation, & he as met his design brief nicely. Good Work Joel!!
Amrit Williams: Joel has developed a well structured animation with good links to action. I especially liked how he incorporated the Harry Potter theme! Great job Joel!
Paul Kwon: Joel has effectively created a fantastic stop motion, and is clear that he went to a lot of effort to make this outstanding presentation; however, the speed could have slightly been slower in parts. Great work!
Jack Williams: I congratulate Joel on an outstanding job creating this fantastic stop motion. The only minor downside was the speed at parts, although overall I feel it was a great accomplishment! Great Effort!!
